Pivot Table Sorting?

When I simply have Number Of Rows as a value option for my Pivot Table, a carat is introduced if I click on the column. This makes me think that this is sortable? However clicking on the carat does nothing. Also there are no other carats triggerable on the other columns so maybe we aren’t supposed to be able to sort here?

Kei helped me figure this out. You have to get into the gear icon and change sort within group. Instructions are here if anyone else runs into this:

How to sort values beyond groups in Pivot Table / Summarize Table

In Pivot Table or Summarized Table, if you set multiple columns at “Row” and click the column header to sort, it sorts the values within the group by default. [image] If you want to sort the value beyond the group, here is how to. Click the gear icon to open the Chart Property Dialog. Uncheck the “Sort within Group” checkbox.
