Whats the best laptop/OS for for Exploratory?

I am contemplating buying the new Mac M1, but wanted to check if it’s powerful enought to use for R and especially Exploratory? any recommendations?

We are finding it much faster in general. It’s not apple-to-apple, but here’s the comparison data we have.
