Using Data Visualization for Civil Work Cost Estimation Projects

I am learning data visualization recently and exploring Exploratory.io. I mostly work on civil work cost estimation projects, and I think visualizing cost breakdowns can make client reports more clear. For example, I tried creating a simple chart showing labor, materials, and equipment percentages, and it helped explain where most of the budget goes. Does anyone here use Exploratory for project-based data like construction or engineering? I would love to know which chart types or dashboards work best for showing cost analysis.

That’s interesting, Aliana. I also work on construction projects and mostly focus on material takeoff and cost estimation. Visual charts really help clients understand the budget flow. I think bar or pie charts work best to show material vs labor costs clearly.
