Unsupported Folders for Your Exploratory Repository

Windows

  1. Multi-Byte Characters: We do not support folder names containing multi-byte characters.
  2. Space: We do not support folder names containing spaces.
  3. Root Drive Location: Folders directly under the root drive (e.g., C:\, D:\) are not supported.
  4. Documents Folder: Avoid placing your repository in the Documents folder under your Home Directory (e.g., C:\Users\<user>\Documents).
  5. Downloads Folder: Similarly, the Downloads folder under your Home Directory (e.g., C:\Users\<user>\Downloads) is not supported.
  6. Music Folder: The Music folder (e.g., C:\Users\<user>\Music) is also not supported for your Exploratory Repository.
  7. Pictures Folder: Avoid using the Pictures folder (e.g., C:\Users\<user>\Pictures) for your repository.
  8. Videos Folder: The Videos folder (e.g., C:\Users\<user>\Videos) is not supported.
  9. 3D Objects Folder: Repositories located in the 3D Objects folder (e.g., C:\Users\<user>\3D Objects) are not supported.
  10. Program Files: Repositories under Program Files (e.g., C:\Program Files\Exploratory) are not supported.
  11. UNC Paths: Lastly, repositories using Windows UNC paths (e.g., \\server\share)

Mac

  1. Multi-Byte Characters: We do not support folder names containing multi-byte characters.
