When attempting to connect to Snowflake from a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip, the following error occurs, preventing the connection:

Error in loadNamespace(x) : there is no package called 'exploratory'

Solution

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Download the Snowflake ODBC Driver
    Visit the Snowflake ODBC Driver download page and download version 2.25.12 of the driver.
