If you see the error “Cannot open the connection” while previewing a Dashboard or Note, please check the following.
- Check the repository folder exists. Usually, the repository folder is under your home directory with the name
.exploratory. If you don’t see it, you can restart Exploratory to specify the repository location or setup a new repository.
- Check that the repository folder and subfolders are writable. You can try creating an empty folder or file to check it.
- Check that you have disk space. If it is full, please free up the disk space.
Once you check them out, restart Exploratory and try it again.
