A paired t-test is a statistical method used to determine whether there is a significant difference between two measurements taken from the same subjects — for example, comparing test scores before and after a training session, or measuring values before and after a treatment. Compared to an independent t-test, a paired t-test removes the influence of individual differences, making it a more powerful test.
To run a paired t-test in Exploratory, open the Analytics View, select “T-Test” as the type, and set the “Paired” option to TRUE in the properties panel.
