When you’ve received an EDF file from a co-worker, then try to export and publish it, you might get the “Could not find a referenced Connection” error.
To workaround this, you can quickly set a valid data connection to the imported data source. Here’s how to do it:
Open the Data Source Step
Click on the Data Source step to open it.
Select a New Connection
From the Connection dropdown, select the data connection you’d like to use.
Run the Query
After selecting the new connection, run the query to refresh and apply it.
