Exploratory Won't Launch After Windows 11 24H2 Update

Issue Overview

After upgrading Windows OS, Exploratory fails to launch.
Affected Version: Windows 11 Pro 24H2 (26100.4652)

Workaround Steps

1. Close Exploratory

If the application is running, completely close it.

2. Navigate to AppData Folder

  • Open Windows File Explorer.
  • Type %LOCALAPPDATA% in the address bar and press Enter.
  • The following folder will open:
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local

3. Back Up the Exploratory Folder

  • Locate the Exploratory folder.
  • Rename it to save a backup copy (e.g., Exploratory-backup).

4. Restart Exploratory

Launch the application and verify that it works correctly.
