I hope you’re doing well. I’m reaching out with an important update regarding Exploratory’s subscription pricing, along with several options to help you lock in your current rate if you choose.
What’s Changing
Starting February 1st, 2026, our subscription pricing will be updated as follows:
Personal Plan
- Yearly: from $39 → $49 per month
- Monthly: from $49 → $59 per month
Business Plan
- Yearly: from $79 → $99 per month
- Monthly: from $99 → $119 per month
These new prices will apply at your next automatic recurring payment after February 1st, depending on whether your plan renews monthly or annually.
What This Means for Your Current Plan
- If you’re on a Yearly plan: Your current rate is locked until your subscription renews, with no changes until then.
- If you’re on a Monthly plan: You’ll see the new price starting with the first renewal after February 1st.
Why We’re Making This Change
Since introducing subscriptions in 2016, we have never raised pricing. During that time, we’ve continued to deliver major new features and improvements—Dashboards, Simple Note Editor, Exploratory Server, Interactive Dashboards, Chart Web Authoring, Project Collaboration, Version Control, AI Prompt for Data Wrangling, Guided Analytics with AI Summary, AI Function, AI Note Editor, and many more.
This update will allow us to continue investing in powerful new capabilities, improved usability, and the long-term quality of both Exploratory Desktop and Server.
Lock In Your Current Price (Optional)
If you’d like to keep your current pricing for the next 1 or 2 years, you can purchase a subscription plan anytime before February 1st by clicking ‘Purchase Additional Subscription at Current Price’ button in the Account Setting page.
Available options:
Personal Plan
- 1 year — $468
- 2 years — $936
Business Plan
- 1 year — $948
- 2 years — $1,896
At the end of your chosen period, your plan will renew automatically at the new price unless canceled if you registered your credit card to our website. If you chose to pay via invoice then it won’t renew automatically.
If You Prefer to Cancel
No action is needed to keep your plan.
If you’d like to cancel to avoid future charges, please do so before February 1st, 2026 by visiting Account Setting → Manage Subscription → Cancel Subscription.
