A chart shows an error like “Argument 2 must be named.” if you assign a column that has “.” in values and try to change the display name to something else.
You can work around this problem by updating the “.” to other values using the “Replace Values” menu. Here is the how-to.
On the Table View or Summary View, select “Replace Values” → “With Conditions” from the column header menu of the target column.
Create a condition to change the text value from “.” to something else. The following example tries to replace “.” with “Others”. Once it is done, you can use the updated column in the chart.
