A common reason to this is that .Rprofile file is conflicting with initialization of Exploratory.
Please try removing .Rprofile (after taking a backup copy, if you need it.) and restart Exploratory to see if it helps.
We are looking into better solution for the case you need to have your custom setup in .Rprofile. I will update this post.
